Im so jealous my lab retriever is now 4yrs old. I don’t do much bird hunting or ducks for that matter. I really want to get into it though and am set up with the gear but i just get lost in the whitetail world. I think mine might be a little too old to train too!! Very cool though man and congratulations on your pup!!

I agree its tough to get up in the morning and decide ....ducks or deer! This year i think i should have spent more time duck hunting with him this year. Hopefully next year i can get a good jump on putting some venison in the freezer so i can focus on more waterfowl.

It is a hard decision. If it is going to be a bluebird day most of the time I head to the woods. If the weather is miserable you know the answer

I had a spot that I could duck hunt in the morning, then collect the gear and deer hunt the afternoon. New owner of the property stopped all duck hunt hunting.
