I’m still crossing my fingers that I get a few more hunts in. There’s a 13 pointer (8X5 with both G2’s split ), a mainframe 12, and an 11 pointer with a double split on his left G2 and drop time on his right side.

The further into winter we get, the more time they historically spend on the place I can access.

Man, I know I'm letting you down. I've passed up a few small bucks and some does early on and now it's starting to look like it ain't gonna happen. I'm still holding out hope but with the hours I'm working and the shorter days, it's going to be tough.
 
Last time I called out my team there was a flurry of points put on the board, so here we go again. We just need @ADKMtnTrapper and @d_rek to get a doe for the lead! Then @redsquirrel needs to upgrade to a buck so we can seal the deal :) I'll be out there Monday to try to "upgrade" my 5 pointer to an 8.
 
Don’t forget... some seasons stretch until Jan 15th. It ain’t over till it’s over.

I am running out of time to upgrade my little scrub buck .... however like Ikeman said it aint over until its over! I just wish life would not interfere with hunting season!! lol

My NJ season does not end until some time Feb. but contest ends in end of Jan. I shot an 8 pointer mid January a few years ago.

I’ll be out pounding through then.

Went out this morning and saw a coyote come from the direction of the bedding area where the deer usually hole up. Didn't offer a shot and never saw a deer. I'll be out trying to fill another tag until the seasons over, but will probably rest my properties for a few weeks to let things calm down after gun season.
 
I'm buck tagged out. A good friend of mine has struck out so far so I might take the bow and try to snag a doe. It's hard to be really motivated when you don't have any buck tags.

I’m finally getting better. I have 2 months left so I still have a chance.

It is and it isn't lol. I'm very glad for how the season went. But I want to be in the chase still. Plus I feel like I just crested the hill on getting the saddle part figured out and I'd like some more seat time before the season ends.

Sounds like you need to go out of state! VA season goes til January, you get six tags with a license. What state are you in? Not VA right?

I'm in NY. I'd really like to get a few spots in Ohio for future years. Not that being tagged out always happens. But even if I strike out here it would give me another option.

I hear you there, I think it would be pretty hard for me to tag out this year, 13 in VA and 2 in PA, hoping to get back to PA after Christmas for the late archery/muzzleloader. As for Ohio, my wife's family has a small farm there, but her Aunt won't let me hunt there, lol oh well!
