I've got to get out there in the next day or so... there's snow on the ground. I want to put a cam out to hopefuly see some of the bucks i got on cam during the season... if one in paticular made it through he should be a beast this season...

Thanks! I liked that one myself. That stand was about 35' up in that oak and on the edge of a huge drop off. The only thing in the tree to climb was some nails.

I love those finds! I found a really nice matched set on my uncles property where we have never even seen a nice buck one time. Was really surprised to find a good set there. Funny thing is I'm pretty sure I killed that buck the next year on my dad's property and it's almost five miles away. Can't be sure of it but they look almost identical.

Nice!! I did a quick 2 mile outing yesterday and got skunked again. I'm at about 8 miles now with nothing to show for it. I just keep telling myself I'm one mile closer to my next one! Haha

Lol yeah, im probably 15 miles spread over 3 outings with 2 forks to show for it. Found this one right by his bed. Bled a little bit after, so he definitely lost it in the last 18hrs since it's fresh snow.

I had a great plan for scouting all weekend, but I caught pneumonia and was down for the count. I'm probably not going to be up for it this weekend so that will be 2 lost scouting weekends already

You too! Ended up in hospital. Was out scouting everyday....lasted about an hour. Sucks getting old.

Get better! I'm lucky we caught it before it got bad. In hindsight my 1.5 mile hikes in and out of the tree in the cold the week before I found out I had it probably didn't help!
