2024 Gear thread

I'm intending to order those Hyperlite sticks the minute I receive the e-mail. The standoff is okay for my size 9-10 boots and I really like their design and stacking. I have several sets of sticks and leave some of them on the trees most of the season as I hunt private land that only sees trustworthy hunters.

You’re lucky to have access to land with truly trustworthy people also on it with you.

Thanks for field testing these sticks for us :). Let us know your thoughts on them.

I’ve wondered why we haven’t had a reverse draw vertical bow yet. Works in the crossbow world. I’m sure Scorpyd has that licensing and royalties all tied up. It’s great to dream.

For the Iron Will shooters out there - I spoke with them yesterday with a question regarding their HIT and collar system, and before I got off the phone I asked about their wide single bevel broadheads only being available down to 150 grains. I wanted to know if they would be released in a 125 grain version.

Supposedly, they're working on them and the Single Bevel Wide should be available in 125 grain sometime in May.

I shoot the wide 200gr SB. Love them

What’s their angle with this I wonder, just to give out discounts to sell more saddles?

Makes a lot of sense to me, recruits customers from other brands with big discount, gives all those people who have an old tethrd saddle reason to start spending money again, gets both of those user groups to buy what I expect are the highest margin items which are all the accessories etc AND on top of all that they have a whole campaign to point to that they notified customers that 5 year old products are not longer deemed safe by the powers that be which may be useful in any liability suits etc on old models in the future

That all makes sense for sure.
