Went out yesterday and scouted a place in familiar with. Shoot a video of a finished prepped tree that shows entry, blocking, and back cover.

I also pulled two cameras, walked at least 10 miles, found several new areas, a few ladder stands and a hidden pond. I have my first 3 stands for 2018 identified.

 
Awesome stuff. I need to start blocking trails at a few of my setups. I also need to do a better job looking at my tree from the deers perspective. I usually just consider the anticipated travel direction. Lucky I was hunting high all last year, but I learned the hard way that too much height makes for a bad shot sometimes. I'm gonna choose better trees and slightly less height this year.
 
Try this one. I get sane message but video works on YouTube channel even on phone.
