8mm samson ultra tech

Your right with that assessment like I said just curious. Im planning on using it as a backup prussik for my rc harness. I don't think it will hinder my abilities though. Good luck to you

The 9mm ultra tech I have is red and green as seen in the photo. The stuff is awesome.

I will say this it is tough to cut with a regular blade but my havalon cut threw this in like 3 swipes such a scary sharp knife.

Have you tried using your stove on high. When I'm cutting rope I'll electric tape it, cut it, and then with the tape still on I take it to my electric stove burner on high to dress the ends. My wife hates this... So I love it. ;)

Lol.
That won't work on this stuff. It's so flame resistant that it just chars and flakes off.

Really?!?! I'll have to get some and play with. I'm using bee line right now for my prus-cord and I've done a 70' descent on it with just minor glazing in a SRT system.

I have a new scar on my foot to prove it lol.

I still don't know how y'all wear crocs...

Deer must be pretty talented to pick up a bridge twenty foot up.... I haven't had one notice it yet and i had three right under me two nights ago and I was 13 foot up. Don't think I'd sweat the colors

Well they can supposedly smell you half a mile away which is pretty impressive. When your spending a couple hundred bucks to cover yourself head to toe in camo and trying to cover all the details I'd rather get something that blends in better with all the choices out there. The colors on the 9 mm are much better in my opinion and that's what I thought I was getting color wise when I ordered. Ill be interested to see what people say about abrasion resistance of the sheath after extended use. I have been fooling with different platforms using this instead of amsteel. It may be the edges in the casting on my xop seat but it wore through in a couple days. The inner core is definitely tough to cut but I'm not sure about the sheath. Will test with other cord and report back.

Its been proven and documented many times, deer noises are far superior..... eyes NOT so much.... but if it worries someone then there are other choices. (Camo industry is for foolng hunters not deer) I've shot many deer in plaid wool .

I started in my original LW and XOP platform video and thread that you have to round off the corners of the platform. Lots of people are modifying further and making post/videos and are not restating this. I tested the concept for many months before i released the original LW Cam over platform video (and then subsequent XOP video) and this was one of the things my testing showed. The XOP is better but it still has squared edges that should be rolled over with a file and sandpaper.

Agreed!! Many moons before I started hunting many deer were killed with blue jeans, red flannel, and orange vest/hats while wearing boots you worked all week in.

So i taped mine and heat shrunk it. The gun was hot and when it hit the core it just began to smoke. This stuff will smolder and just flake off. Tape it, heat shrink, dab in goop. That is my recommendation

Do you think using "ShoeGoo" on the end would would work? Got a good amount of that laying around from fixing my wifes rock climbing shoes.
