I just used instamorph plastic to mold something up around a screw in accessory hook, and put a ruler through so I could run the webbing strap. I've been using it for 3 or 4 years now.Yes, something like this. I was thing if it had the prongs that it would hold the bow at an angle for me to keep it in a better possition. Who makes that?
I am not familiar with that product. I am sure they have it at the hardware store but have not paid attention to it. I believe I used spray on plasti-dip on it to make it black. It has rubbed off the back side. Yea, get it right before you do anything else to it. And FYI once you mold the stuff once, it gets harder to melt down and use every time you try to reuse it. So try to get it done the first time. And for this purpose, it doesn't have to be perfect looking, just functional. That is neat stuff! I assume you painted yours. Does the paint mess it up if you try to remold it? Just get it right before you paint it!
Look up the U-slide mini. I have been using mine for 3 years. I think they are an awesome saddle bowhanger.
Thanks,
