Looking to add a shorter bridge to saddle as a second bridge for DRT Climbing. Any suggestions as far as which rope/knots to do so with or manufactured bridge options would be best/safest to use? I was thinking about just tying in a length of Samson predator. Trying to stay away from Amsteel blue and splicing. Currently using a aero hunter kestrel. Thanks all.

I use climbing slings. 2 for redundancy. If I need the bridge shorter, I pass them back and forth.

On my Mantis, I just used a 12" sling through the bridge loops and connected the sling's ends with a carabiner. My SRT rope connected to the other end of the carabiner. A small sling is nothing to pack and carry.

Have you tried an adjustable bridge? Shorten for climbing, lengthen for hunting. No need for 2...

I added a second shorter bridge for SRT out of some extra Oplux I had. Tied on to bridge with poachers knots (backed up by a stopper knot). I have an adjustable bridge, but I find easier to transfer to my tether with two bridges.

I use a ropeman on my lineman's belt so i have spare prusik cord. Its the same size as the prusik cord used for my tether. I am def. going to make the same setup that you included in your post. I like the thought of having both the prusik and the bridge secured at the same time. Thanks for all the responses and help.
