Hey guys, I’m making an upgrade from the rope bridge/caribener bride. I’ve got all the supplies but before I make any final decisions I want to make sure I’m doing it the most beneficial way possible.

I am wondering if I would be better off doubling the webbing up and joining it as one single continuous loop, like so…

Or, if joining it on either side near to the bridge loops is better.

Any safety advantages/disadvantages or comfort issues would be helpful. Especially if you made a similar decision before.

I would recommend joining it at each side and girth hitching the webbing to the bridge loops. A girth hitch allows you to adjust where the bridge pulls on the bridge loop which changes the way the saddle feels. It can help you fine tune the comfort of your saddle.

That’s a great idea. Thanks for the input.
