Anyone seeing chasing already?

Haven’t seen chasing yet but I am seeing bucks moving in daylight. Only had one in the half hour before/after too, several in the 9-10 am and then 4:30-6 evening time. I came home after my sit tonight and put in more time off requests for the next few weeks.
Yes I had some pics of daylighting recently though too so there’s that! Again, I also think that occurs when two mature bucks cross tracks especially if one is out on an excursion.

I didn’t know that but it does line up with what I’ve seen. One tonight I think was 3.5 but I’m sure an argument could be made for 2.5 and the others have been older than him.

Yes, they are aggressive right now. I have trail cam pics of bucks trailing does, got a pic of a buck with a gash in his neck from fighting, and I'm seeing aggressive rubs/scrapes (licking branches thrashed and snapped).....next week I'm hunting my better spots and attacking.

On my way home from walking the dogs, I had a great buck cross the road a few doors down from my house and he was zig zagging behind a small doe.

I usually see a couple nice bucks around the house in Dec/Jan, and most Halloweens but this is the earliest I’ve seen a good one, and probably the earliest chasing I’ve witnessed. I know it happens, just wondering whats going on across the board In your neck of the woods.

I’m in WNY.

Yes, I own a few wooded huntable acres, but don’t hunt it as it’s my neighborhood…as tempted as I am to grab my bow right now…I’m confident he’s headed this way.
Also in WNY. I shot a doe in a group of four the other day and two minutes later two bucks ran right down the same path. Would have made it a two'fer but they were on a mission and could not stop them. Definitely chasing the ladies.

I grunted in a buck that was dogging does on Monday and rattled in 2 more last week (different areas). I'm getting an increasing amount of bucks trailing does on cam as well. I'm heading to Missouri tomorrow and should hit this cold front perfectly.
