Bald/shaved head care

I use an electric palm shaver off of amazon 2/3 times a week. It doesn't get as tight to the head as a razor does, but it does a great job. I typically shave every 2/3 days to keep it easy. If I wait a week the shave takes much longer. I typically shave my head, wipe down my head, and then apply some good lotion.
 
Until recent society trends led to policy changes, we LEOs had to shave everyday. My neck/jaw line hated it. Electric razors just burned and left bumps. I found these razors from Gillette years ago and won’t go back to a regular razor. They aren’t as close of a shave but if you are shaving everyday anyways it seems fine to me.

I mix this with conditioner on the head and I’m good to go. I hear you on the pillow case stuff though. Wife hates it.
