That would be great. I think it might be just what my sitdrag needs.I can mock up a SitDrag with connector loops and take some pics tonight.

You guys are making AH Evo's without the leg loops!
Haha if AH sees this thread they’ll be pissed. Everyone complained about the EVO being too complicated and the parts not necessary. So they made the kestrel. Now everyone is adding parts back!
Maybe they had it more better than they thought.
That's impressive DanOSorry almost forgot to take pics as promised. My SitDrag has molle loops so I used those for a quick attachment point. For barebones SitDrag, you would just sew these attachment points right to the SitDrag. Hope it gives you an idea. I didn’t want to break out a new SitDrag and start sewing on it. I guess I could always sew them on for you if you wanted.
I would be worried about that plastic buckle if you are using it for fall protection. It would probably not survive a fall.Redid my linesman’s belt like Dano’s and tucked away the leg straps. With this setup I don’t feel I need the leg straps for anything. Where the Mantis hangs also seems to be just the right height for comfort. Feels good carrying/walking to the tree in all this. Climbing is great. The battlebelt can be bulky when sitting in the tree. I had to loosen it some to relieve the discomfort. Don’t think that will be a deal breaker though.

That really shouldn't come into play. The battle belt is used when climbing as a lineman belt and while tethered you are relying on the Mantis. The Mantis/tether is what matters, not the connection between the two. The plastic connectors are there to "position" the Mantis a little lower.I would be worried about that plastic buckle if you are using it for fall protection. It would probably not survive a fall.
Make sure you pull your ends tight and really lock each stitch down!! The speedy stitcher allows you to use heavier/thicker thread than a machine may, As long as you got good thread and lock them stitches down you should be okay!I like it a lot! Thanks for the pics. I'm not 100% sure if I trust my sewing on the battlebelt linesman loops yet. Maybe some more research on thread patterns and practice with my speedy stitcher are in order.

That is a neat idea. I think I will try something close to that using a riggers belt.I eventually came up with this which is my go to rig. The GI sustainment pouch holds the sit drag at the proper level and is my tether, backband and LB storage. The original bridge on the sit drag is still there sewed on the back. Thanks for the ideas @DanO .
