I have a stock set of Skeletors that I plan on using as my primary sticks this season. Please share how you modded the sticks to carry on your saddle on the way up. Thanks!
I use Night Ize gear ties connected to my saddle and hang/wrap my sticks off of them before I climb up the tree.
I usually hang the first stick with an aider on the ground, and will usually wrap one tie around two sticks on my left side of the saddle, and a single stick on the right side for the climb.
can you send a link to the accessory cord you use?No mods for me. Just a 5-6" loop of accessory cord through the molle loops. I have them at the sides and the very back of the saddle, so one stick goes on the tree, then two go on my saddle at the sides and a platform on the back loop. Or you could do three sticks in all three loops. Or add more loops, etc. Flare out the steps to hold them securely in the loops while climbing. One-hand operation in and out of the loops. Works with many different sticks and platforms. And it is basically free.

thankshttps://www.knotandrope.com/collections/accessory-cord/products/4mm-camo-cord
They sell it in 3 and 5mm as well, which can also be useful. But I happen to be using the 4mm for this purpose. Very strong and durable cord. Holds knots very well. This cord makes paracord look like the silly prostitute that it is.
what clips are those?

And those things are handy to have around.Use nite eyes rubber coated ties. I put one stick on my side, twist the tie a couple times….then lay another stick on top of it and twist it on. They’re totally silent and come off easily. They don’t sway at all when your climbing.
