Chlorophyll Tablets

That is just chlorophyll right?

And copper, I believe. It is a bit more expensive than some of the generic stuff. But, it is used quite a bit in nursing homes, even at the higher cost. Those places won't use anything that's more expensive unless it works better, so that's enough proof for me haha.

I shower before every hunt with DDW. I keep all of my hunting clothes including my backpack and boots in the closet with an ozone generator until I leave. Once I get out I sprayed down everything with DDW. Then I also usually rub pine needles or cedar branches on me before I walk to the stand.

No scentlok? Are you playing the wind?

It does work. Also, if you have never used the product that used to be called Pit Stop (forget the current name product I use) foot crème and underarm crème, I highly recommend it. I have sweaty feet and this stuff really works great. I think the active ingredient is lavolin (sp) or something like that. I will have to look as I get mine from Amazon each year or two.

here is the amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/Lavilin-Awar...704563&sr=8-1&keywords=lavalin+foot+deodorant

No, no scentlok. I play the wind to the T. I just can't imagine after ozoning my cloths and gear all night long and spraying down that scentlok would make that big of a difference. I really do think that it's something I exhale.

That must be awesome. I couldn't imagine being able to play the wind like that. All the hills and valleys in Tn with the swirling winds and thermals. It would make a man crazy trying to stay on the "right" side of a deers nose here in Tn!

Yeah way down here near the gulf we've typically got some pretty strong prevailing winds, most of the time from the south but sometimes from the north. There's only a few occasions where we have little so no wind that just kind of swirls around. When that happens I just don't really know what to do.

so this thread made me try this again. Went with some dr sousa (witch doctor) liquid stuff on amazon. Ive been taking a diluted shot glass of this stuff every morning/evening for 2 weeks and can honestly say, my **** don't stink.
Unless I eat something heavy in onion, garlic or something like that the night before.

tastes like the doctor just dumped his lawnmower bag in a blender though

think the first time I tried it with poor results was with nullo pills

edit- my bad just looked in fridge...its not dr. sousa, its De Souza

yeah...going to eat a bag of frozen corn night before opening day.

Lets see if DNR can bust me for hunting over bait

You know I've been wondering about something like this! It doesn't seem to matter how freaking stricken about scent control, I seem to get busted more often then not while way the heck up in a tree. I get busted long after I've seen them coming in, I'm staying perfectly still. Sometimes I think they can hear my heart beating just like I can. The other thought I've had is I'm giving off an odor that no matter how well I prepare I can't stop. Maybe this is the answer!

Find a few milkweed plants that still have pods, put the pods in a paper bag in your car for a couple weeks. Then, drop milkweed like an addict this season. You will learn SOOOO much about how the wind acts in your hunting area. You may find the terrain features that are swirling your scent and be able to adjust your setup to compensate.

I took milkweed on my elk hunt in Colorado this year. (After removing all seeds, since it isn't native up there) I used up 4 pods in a week.... that's almost 2 seasons worth of milkweed in a week. I learned SO much about thermals up there. I was amazed at how 5-6 minutes of cloud cover or sunlight could drastically change the air flow around me without feeling a difference in direction.

I want to try this but I don't know if I ever see milkweed.
Which one of these plants are you calling milkweed?

All of those are in the milkweed family. This is what they look like wild in my area.

Man I don't think I ever see that out in the wild. My wife has milkweed in a butterfly garden but I don't think they ever make those pods.

Don't think they grow wild here - but you can plant them from what I have been told?
