Climbing spikes

Don't try to silence the bottom straps. Replace them with webbing/buckles. Also - do yourself a favor and get rid of the little leather spur guards and replace them with a custom Instamorph plastic creation. Instamorph can be found cheaply on Amazon.

Can you post a picture please of your webbing set up. Thanks

I am planning on replacing the leather with webbing and a clip, but that leaves that large metal ring in place for the webbing to attach to... how can I silence that?

Take the ring off. That's what I did.

How do you connect to the J part of the spur? Or are you just supporting it from the main riser? Could you post a pic of your solution?

You have to have the ring to connect the webbing to, don't you?

I just run the strap through the small ring that that bigger split ring connects too. One piece of webbing for the bottom strap

Stealth strips wrapped arond the rings, works for me.

It looks like that small ring might screw in... might be able to put a grommet in the webbing and replace the ring with a screw to hold the webbing in place....?
It's in there pretty tight, so I will have to do some research before I go to unscrewing it. Don't want to damage anything.

There's a joke in there somewhere...

What diameter webbing are y'all using that fits through there?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My guess is 1"

Lol no joke. I used 1". It's tight but it will go

Same here. 1" worked well.

Honestly webbing choice was easy. Good buckles are harder to find.

What do people use for good buckles?

I love strapworks. Their shipping is dinosaur slow to my location, but the selection can't be beat.
