I tried searching. But could find anything. Are climbing spurs legal in Nebraska? Nebraska doesn't have much trees. But the few public grounds are national forest. So, there are trees there. Lol.
Hell just as good vantage point to look around at the open vastness.

Is there a good list of where climbing spurs are legal and not?

Read regs of those that own the land and game and fish regs. I wouldnt just go off of what strangers on forums say. You gotta want it bad enough though

I have read every guide available on nebraska website. And look at the rest of the pdf pertaining to hunting and public land. And searched the site. Im not finding it.

Then why be on the forums at all if you dont want to listen to the answers of strangers?

I don't know the answer either but I know how to find it. First things first you have to figure out who actually owns the land. There are no "public land regulations". USFS, BLM, COE, different state agencies, municipalities, etc all have their own regulations.

Then you typically have to look beyond the quick guides and go to the actual code for answers. Fire up google and search "USFS regulations" or "Nebraska WMA(or whatever they call them there) regulations". It's not going to be a nice neat one-page summary in all likelihood you have to go to the legalese.

Even then it probably won't specifically spell out climbing spikes because who the hell actually uses them, like no one. But if there is something in the code about damaging trees/vegetation then you can be pretty certain it's a no-go. I'd say if screw-in steps are explicitly allowed, you could have a chance, still might have to explain yourself or may want to call and ask.

I plan on calling. I went through alot of pdf over 2 days. All the code I saw it was about weapons mostly. Very little about stands.
Did find alot of state own land across the whole state. Looks like it 1-5 acres plots scattered like a lightning strike map.
Im apparently not good at searching western state terms for stuff.
