Complete Saddle Setup with SitDrag

Great video, thanks for sharing.

I didn't get why you say tethering to the tree before mounting the platform is "the most important thing you can do for safety"?
In case you climb on and something breaks. Maybe you didn't get a ratchet quite tight enough or another piece gives out. If you are attached with your tether and lineman belt, there's less chance you'll get hurt. I should have been more clear about that. My apologies. Great catch!

The DIY molle gear hanger made from ratchet strap material is cool and I need something like that - so I hacked out a cheeseball version. I don’t have a sewing machine to make the loops so I used zip ties and a cinch strap from a set of lock on climbing sticks. Still small and compact. I already have a small biner on my pack so this will be quick and easy. I put my Qlipter (for my bow / gun) on my tether though

Would anyone be willing to sell via PayPal enough 7/64” amsteel and zing it to make a pack hanger? That stuff gets expensive to buy in bulk online.

You can buy it by the foot on tree stuff.com Samson makes a similar product to zing it that you can buy by the foot. I’ll post a link.

Dutchwaregear.com seems to be the place! $15 including shipping for everything I’ll need. Thanks!

They have fantastic customer service too. If it weren't New Years day, I bet it would ship the same day.
