Lol. I never use a recipe. But it’s something like this. 4 onions, 2 packs of crawfish, roux and some green onions once your gravy comes together. If I had bell peppers, that would be in there too. Add seasoning to taste. Tonys Chachere’s and a little crab boil. Some peeled whole boiled eggs in there are good too.
Keep it simple. People like to use a big complicated recipe because it makes them feel like they are doing something.
With black iron pots, onions and beer, you can cook anything!
Serve over real rice. Not that diet replacement junk.
Crawfish are one of things I love most about being from the south! I don’t understand people who don’t eat them. Great... now I’m hungry... the day after a crawfish boil we will make crawfish cornbread and crawfish chowder(basically potato soup with crawfish in it).. yep, now I’m starving...
