Deer hunting Saturday and was walking through some thick stuff. After the hunt I noticed that two strands of my bow string had broken..I don't know if it was the briars...my guess it was...I clipped them and superglued the ends back to the string. Is this something I need to replace or just keep shooting with it?

Heat works too. A lighter and burn the fray (lightly) works well and does not come undone like wax when you practice shooting. I forget the # of strands but if you look up string building, it will tell you how many strands for the # of pull. Most strings have more strands than needed. If you get fewer strands, the string could bust. I would keep an eye on it.

I would just ship the whole kit and kaboodle to huck72412. That thing is worthless. I'll pm my address. Hope this helps!

I would get another string and use the old one as a temporary backup.
