Got the cam cleat and amsteel one-stick rope in from EWO, and installed on one of my XOP X2 sticks. Wrapped in camo vet tape to quiet the noise down and make it look a little better in the process, to my eyes anyways.

I'd eventually like to get the Ultimate Platform to replace the top step on here, but I need to not order anything for awhile. I think I may have already paid their light bill for this month, lmao.

I did the same with my x2. I added the rda crowsnest platform. I've never tried the u.p. but the crowsnest seems to have plenty of foot room for me.Screenshot_20230919_193754_Gallery.jpg

The crowsnest platform is $95. It bolts on in the same pattern as other top of stick platforms but is already drilled out to 5/16 just like the xop sticks are. You use the standoff that is already on the stick. I don't know how comfortable it would be for longer hunts but short hunts should be no problem

I like the fact that you use the XOP standoff. Those things really bite into the tree. It's the only thing making me slightly hesitant about the EWO Ultimate Platform.

I have the edge platform from XOP. I've been eyeballing it to see if there's a way I can make it work on top of the X2 stick, but I don't think there is.

I have the RDA 1 stick with the crows nest. I was worried that it might not be enough foot room for me cause I had been using the predator platform previously. After having done several sits already this season and so far I have found it to be just as roomy and more comfortable than my predator platform.

Did you just drill one extra hole in the stick for the cam cleat and repurpose the existing hole where the button/bolt was at? Another random question, but what size drill bit did you use for the hardware? I stopped by Home Depot and picked up 2 of the #10-32x2.5" bolts. My Harken 150 Cam Cleat is supposed to arrive tomorrow!

Can’t remember size. There is a recommended size on the harken package and personally I converted to metric and ordered the right size screws and drilled it. I have a lot of metric fasteners so I believe I tried them in the opening and sized up(from recommended) for a tight fit. I can find the details if helpful but if you research and pick the closest mm size above that it’s what I used. For length I would have measure depth of stick + nut and added min 2 thread lengths.

Yes I used the existing hole for the button and drilled an extra. I cant remember exactly what size bit I used but I believe it was listed on the harken package like @kstetar mentioned. My cam cleat from EWO came with hardware though so I didn't need to buy any extra.

Good stuff! When I put mine on, the template did NOT match up! Thankfully either a review or someone here gave a heads up about it. Use the actual cam cleat for your template or make sure they match up before drilling that extra hole!
