Thought you guys might be interested in super lite weight aider for probably less than 5 bucks material, have painted and wrapped steps nowIMG_8154.jpeg
 
Looks nice! How'd you make it?
 
Made from 1/2” mule tape, and 1/2” pex. The pex is serving as the step and the connection to the next step. I tested the pex by putting a piece of it and a piece of the mule tape under a floor Jack and pushing it to failure. The mule tape ripped without damaging the pex (mule tape is rated at 1200lbs) the pex bent some and elongated but seemed fine. Knots are pulled inside of the steps to hide.
 
Pretty cool, I'll have to look into this a little more, I could use some more aiders.

I’m sure it looses some with knots but we have pulled some heavy wire on that stuff with knots in it, thanks shop ain’t always that clean but can’t imagine not having it.
