EWO Micro Cam Issues?

I made a fairly large order on Eastern Woods Outdoors which included their Micro Cam cleat. The whole order has been stuck in the processing phase for 12 days now due to "trying to come up with a more semi permanent solution for one of the pieces inside the spring". Anyone know what problems guys were having with their cleats?
 
I’m not 100% but it was something with the spring. The place that assembles them either needed to adjust them all or the need new ones. But when I stopped then didn’t say exactly what the issue was. But this was suppose to be the week they would come in.

Has anyone received any sort of update on the availability of these new single cam cleats? There must have been some sort of issue / severe delay.
 
I emailed them recently about them. They are on hold. They are gonna be working on a new batch after they get through the busy season

Aka…. we need to redesign that turd or we need to pull the plug altogether…. TBD
 
They work great. They had a few people reporting of the teeth were fraying an amsteel rope. But this was isolated. So they were retumbling the teeth. They are testing the newer teeth. I have the original I have used with amsteel and have been having no issues. So I believe there just in the retesting phase.

I had one and didn’t care for it. Wasn’t as silent as they made it out to be. I switched back to the harken. It’s proven. I didn’t trust the EWO cleat. They didn’t appear to want to hold the rope as securely as the harken.
