I ordered 3 of these in November when they had a discount. It took a while for them to get to me and I really only used one of them a little bit during the season. I was really impressed with the photo quality. Then I decided to set 3 of them on different baited areas in February to see what had made it through the year. The bait was very thick. When I came back, the areas were destroyed. To my surprise, each of the cameras did not have near as many pictures as I thought they would (set to every 30 seconds). I was positive they were missing pictures.

Sometimes it would have two of the exact same picture on the card (only set to take one photo).
I rebaited the piles, reset the cameras, and set a stealthcam and wildgame innovations cam with the same settings on the same piles as the treks at the same time.
I did it twice and let them soak for a week each time.

The stealthcam and wildgame innovations had anywhere from 3x to 10x the pictures the treks.

I used lithium batteries and top quality SD cards and am just a little bit confused.

All I have heard is how great these cameras are.

My questions:
Has anyone had similar experiences?
Am I missing something?
