I want to get a commemorative knife made my kid's fingerprint engraved on it. I've carried lots of knives and always gravitated back to a small Victorinox for an EDC. Had one in my pocket when she was delivered.

Do any members engrave or know a place to get a small, detailed, custom engraving done? I'd like to buy titanium/stainless/aluminum scales to my liking and send them somewhere.
 
This is a really neat idea and very poignant.....makes me feel bad about joking not to let anyone borrow it because if they commit a crime with it then your daughter will be framed for it......
 
I really like that idea. And I have a Victorinox in my pocket right now.

I'd ask a jeweler, or an awards place. I once saw a retired cop get a retirement plaque that incorporated the fingerprint card he submitted with his application packet back in the day, so the sort of company that makes award plaques should be able to engrave a knife blade.
