Forgot how hard splicing rope is.....

After I spliced the eye in my Predator, I vowed that if I ever want another one spliced, I'll fork out the extra $30 or whatever to have someone else do it. I spend like 4 hours getting that splice done. It was my first attempt at anything other than amsteel. I also broke like three needles doing the lock stitching. I had to use a hammer to get the needle started because the cover was stretched so tight there.

I keep hearing how hard predator is to splice. I may have to pick up some more bandit before it's gone. I didn't think it was too terrible.
