@fuse inspired DIY Saddle Build

The main body is done. Wow, that was easy.

Belt is in, bridge is permanently connected, and 1 lineman loop is stitched.

Need to reinforce/stitch the webbing, add molle loops, and build custom side pouches for tether and accessories.

Referencing the picture i noticed the loop that your bridge attaches to is twisted. That is not the case with the sit drag. Am i looking too close or is that by design. If by design, why?

They are folded and sew into third. This is a popular mod most user do to their sit drags, especially if you are going to use that for lineman’s belt attachment. Makes clipping in carabiners easier and more ridged setup, overall more user friendly.

Yea, maybe i didnt state the question right. Look how the top webbing is one side but as it transitions to the bottom it twists

Looks sweet g2!! I like the way you've done the waist belt webbing and buckle. Thinking of redo on my SD to make it like this. Think I'd like the bigger size too.

I like what you guys have done with the DIY saddles. I've been researching saddles for a while on the forum and finally decided to give it a go. I'm DIY'ing a few mods to the SD. I see the belts being added in different areas of the SD. What are the pros and cons of adding the belt to the top versus in the middle of the SD? Seems that the middle would be the best option since it would line up your waist with the center of the SD, but most pics show the belt at the top.

Sweet build, not sure how I missed this lol, probably because I broke my wife's sewing machine
