It is a PSE Fang crossbow. The yellow thing is my pull rope.

Set 7 today I’m set up in between oak flats. Pretty windy today and not a perfect wind for where I wanted to be. If the wind dies down I feel confident I will see deer. I haven’t hunted here in in awhile because they keep putting soy beans out. There is soy this year to but I figured easy in, easy out and hunting alone, I would take my chances. This spot is dynamite when corn in is the field.

My shoulder is still giving me hell but if the right buck walks by I’m putting him down with the Bowtech!!
Talked to PSE last week about my broke limb they said no problem send it it. I’m waiting on my new one to come in. AWESOME customer service. They were fantastic to deal with.

Walked the trail back to the creek. There is a few persimmon trees up there that are being hit pretty hard. I have never had luck with persimmon trees but this is there year. Action under theses trees has been none stop.

Set 8 hunting off field by persimmons. There are oaks all around me.

Seen 5 doe walk the field edge through this hole. Can’t fit an arrow through it.

Had these 2 come up button buck and mommy that hung out about 15 min then the woods blew up they all ran off? Didn’t see any thing or hear anything no blowing nothing. I was thinking coyote bet never seen one heard them this morning

Set 9 followed a old road bed down to where they topped a bunch of trees. When I got there it was to thick to walk so I circled back and found a trail that led me to where I hung out. I found a dropping oak tree. Ended up not seeing anything but squirrels

Set 10 the Krestel set
I walked in blind and set up here in an oak flat. Bigasports set up about 200 yds east of me. Second set of the weekend and never seen a deer. I did have one blowing north of me the way we came in. It was cold we had a 30+ deg drop in temps after a big rain. We figured deer would be moving Maybe next year AEDC will pay up. Had a great weekend camping. Hopefully we can spend more time there next year.

Set 11 all oaks there are 5 different types of oak trees in this grove. I had deer on me but some asshat messed up my hunt in purpose. He had his buddy drop him off at my truck and he came through the woods and the deer blew out. Then he went on up to the power line to catch up with his buddy.
