Just wanted to share a great customer service experience and give a shout out to a great product.
I picked up the Hang Free adjustable bridge last month as a replacement for the amsteel bridge on my Latitude Method 2. I didn't hate the amsteel bridge, but it was kind of a pain to make length adjustments due to how tight the knots were. I used to have a sewn webbing bridge on my aerohunter flex which it was much easier to adjust and wanted to find something close to that. Someone here mentioned the Hang Free adjustable webbing bridge and I picked one up hoping it would do the trick.
I installed it on my saddle the other night and the webbing was sliding through the tri glide when I put any weight on the bridge. I knew I did something wrong installing it but couldn't figure it out so I sent Hang Free a message through the contact form on their website. This was at 8pm, I wasn't expecting a response that night, but literally a few minutes later I had an email from a gentleman at Hang Free asking if I could send him a pic of how everything was hooked up to my saddle. I sent him a pic and minutes later he replied with a fix to my problem- which was caused by my own user error, nothing wrong at all with the bridge. The issue is fixed, the stock bridge on my latitude is no longer on my saddle and I'm ready to hunt.
It's a great bridge, slides back and forth really nice through a carabiner and easily adjusts to longer or shorter lengths- better than the bridge on my flex did. The construction and sewing quality are excellent and I have no concerns about using it above ground level.
