Hello everyone my name is Jesse stanley I'm from North Georgia and I'm new to the saddle hunting game got my first saddle in it way any pointers or advise y'all could give to a new saddle hunter

Welcome! Glad to have you along.
Get a real feel for things at ground level. Flop around and get use to how the saddle acts when you move your weight around. Bridge length can affect how your saddle weight shifts when leaning side to side. Kick off your platform once so you know how it feels to swing around the tree. Other than that practice with your methods so you are comfortable. Check your gear after your done. Hunt and have fun!

Welcome
Please please please
Practice practice and then practice some more.
If you want to be consistent on being successful then i would most definitely scout this season and post season with gear on your back and ( in season ) bow in hand.
Scout til you find good sign in the right spots.
During Post season scouting outings i would definitely take your setup and scout and setup in spots like your going to hunt it.
This will definitely help you figure out things and ways you want to do things.
way before the season.
Mark trees and walk around in a circle 30 yards out, figure out the good winds-to hunt it on.
Then take a picture and set it to that waypoint.
I would definitely setup in the tree and see what you will be looking at.
It may look like a perfect setup from the ground but look totaly different when in the tree.
Then figure if thats the tree or its another.
if its another repeat the process.
Ive done and am doing this especially for my morning spots.
It eliminates the waiting for gray light to see where you can setup.
Helps big time.
oh yea and when your bored at home go out back and practice more setting up and shooting.
be safe aim small and hunt the right sign.
pm me if you ever have any questions.
i been doing this for a minute or two

Do y'all just bow hunt out of y'all saddles or there any that rifle hunt out of them I plan on doing both
