Which one is that? I can't keep up with all the JRB stuff. What I have seen most of it seems to require tying a knot/hitch at the tree which is a dealbreaker personally.
I actually prefer the running jrb hitch just because it is so easy to get off and out of the tree at the end of the hunt.I find the JRB cinch to be secure & quicker to adjust.

not a bad idea at all. I wonder though if cutting a slit horizontally into the hole would allow you to remove from the rope (and still keep its spring/hold) without having to slide it up and down the length of the rope initially or live on the rope.I made this while I was fooling around with rappelling. It is a short section of air hose cut down one side and then a hole punched in the other. The hose wants to stay round so it acts like a natural spring. Just throwing this in the mix, lol.
That might work. It would be worth a try to see. Just don't cut a 2 inch section out of the middle of a 100 foot air hose, lol.not a bad idea at all.
