They didn't turn out too bad with the spray herculiner, I dunno if it took much of the noise out of them, but I like the look,

I coated them in approximately 10 coats in thin layers, allowing the layer to dry before the next one, done over a 3 day period

Zeus thought I had the laser because he saw the camera light and was snooping around, photo bombing

Hey man, how have these held up for you? Did it take the metal sound out of them? Did you do anything to clean out the strap slot? I just picked up a quart and am going to dip steps into it.

I thought about doing that with either the Herculiner or the Rinoliner to my Predator platform, just to some non skid to it. Your steps came out really nice bro.

I actually had sold these, if I remember, they held up ok, but wore some on the edges(not a huge deal, still took a lot of the shininess out of them). I'm using a pair of treehopper steps with my JX3 now, as I prefer the little bit wider step for my feet. As @CZMark said, the other biggest benefit was the added traction.

if I were able to, i would rather have them powder coated tbh
