Hunting style questioned by others?

As Jim Carey said in Liar Liar (Jim Carey is an anti gun guy so I'm not endorsing him personally).

And the truth will set you free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi John,

Actually Jim Carey did not say that first... A man who never lied did.

John 8:31-32

31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
NKJV

Like John, I bought my Anderson Tree Sling back in the early 80's, maybe at the same shop. I purchased mine at Anderson Archery's, Bow Hunting Clinic. That was the mecca for bow hunters back in the day. I don't know what ever happened to Anderson Archery but I think they went out of business years ago. I don't think Anderson Archery had anything to do with the Anderson Tree Sling except for being a dealer.
Anyway, I used the tree sling mainly in trees where I could stand on limbs. The idea of using tree steps for a platform never occurred to me back in the day.

I never knew that, but won't forget it.

Andersons was the mecca in the Midwest for bowhunters and they went out of business a few years after the founder turned it over to his sons Mike, Bill and John. Mike pretty much ran them under and they went out in the mid 90's. You're correct in that they had nothing to do with the Anderson treesling, other than sell them in their retail store. Tom Nelson of American Archer was the store manager at Anderson's for years.

I remember the event Anderson Archery would put on, met Ted Nugent's there once when I was a kid. Also, loved the Michigan Bowhunters Rendivious in Harrison that my dad took my brother and I too and got us hooked on archery at a young age. Met Fred Bear their a few times. He was always great to listen to.
