Well, looking back at the photo again, yours a little different than mine. Mine have 4 little bulges on the side facing the tree, and a little more material dropping down below the step where it touches the tree. So I’m gonna say I “think” those are ameristeps, maybe Erniepower or redsquirrel or one of the other smart people will chime in and either correct me or confirm

I don't think they are ameristeps. I do not know what brand they are but they are what I use, except mine have the slot enclosed. No one but me likes them because they are so small, everyone else is going to platforms. I will buy everyone of them off you if you would sell them.

I was thinking the same thing. I found an old post on a different forum that had them and the straps looked just like ameristeps with a flat hook and a cam buckle

Yea I believe they came like 3 in a pack.. Probably 20 years ago I had some with straps like you say I believe they were produced by API

Oddly I think I'm beginning to favor my ameristeps over my platform.

I think API too, I still use their skyhooks periodically.
