Got a chance to wear it a bit today. Went out in the yard and "hung" a bit at ground level. Anxious to try it more.

Need to decide if I want to keep the lineman belt attached or use carabiner on each end.

Added 2 E-tool pouches to hold back support and my tree tether. Water bottle holder between them will hold a saw.

Extremely well made piece of gear, for sure.

Mine shipped Friday 3/9 right when scheduled. Delivery 3/19.

Man, totally confused with which the bridge rope was, tree strap, and all the ropes....Tree rookie already getting frustrated. Lol. But on a good note the wild edge steps are easy. Love em. Back to my ropes. Ugh!!

I was too not long ago...actually last week...:flushed:
I keep reading the threads and link surf all over the place.
Oh and podcasts too, when they talk tether, bridge and linesman it really gets you to visualize....just keep hitting that back 15 seconds button.
I sort of have a plan for when the Kestrel comes in next Monday.
I tried spicing some 1/2" double braided line last night, came out nice. thats the first thing to go is the knots.
Then I will add a ropeman to my linesman and another to my tether.
I want to keep my bridge simple but being a newbie I think I will want to adjust it, I may use a prussic for that eventually.

1219 showed up yesterday. Couldn’t wait to swing in it so went out and hooked it up. Played with bridge length and tether height till it felt good. Messed with the seat pan adjustments and realized I don’t like much cupping pressure. Also found out I like being more of a leaner with legs straight than a full sitter. Mind you I was only a couple feet off the ground in a 12” tree but sitting presses knees or straddling the tree didn’t feel very comfy. Also a ropeman for the tether is a must have The one on lineman belt is the business. Thanks all for the help in understanding a new way to enjoy the tradition of hunting whitetail deer. This going be fun.

I’m 1405 and ordered Tuesday lol. It’s gonna be a while. But I’m ok with that!
