Kestrel

Y'all got me wondering now but feel good with size 1 6'1" 200 waist 32. What I'm worried about is cold days with coveralls on.h is bout that

In my humble opinion I think it is more about how you wear the saddle then your size. I tend to lean and I also wear my saddle very low across my butt, so for me the size 2 fits me just fine until I push it down and then material bunches up which causes it to be more uncomfortable than the size 1. But if I were to sit and wear the saddle higher a size two would work just fine for me and be comfortable. But all that being said I have spent a very limited amount of time in a size 2(only a few minutes),but I believe I could make either size work for me. I am around a 34-inch waist and if I were to buy another one today it would be another size 1. You'll probably get tired of hearing this but it's just going to take time to get into "saddle shape" and find what works best for you. If I can offer any advice just don't give up. If something's not comfortable make an adjustment eventually you will make enough adjustments that you will find what YOU like. I made enough adjustments that there's no way I would ever go back to hunting any other way but this way. Unless I was physically unable.

Very sloppy. I'm 5'6" 180. 34-36" waist and wear a 1.

Erniepower, you now got me thinking twice. I’m size 34-36 and 190lbs, size chart says 1 but thought overall people were ordering a 2. But I’m planning on walking with the harness on about 11/2 miles and sloppy would irritate me. Ugh!! This is the worst part of the wait, continually overthinking it!! Lol

You are definitely over thinking it. You will most likely be happy with the size 1. I wear 36" pants and have no issues with the size 1 as far as comfort and use. I'm testing the size 2 shortly.

While the Kestrel sizing is based on pant waist sizing, the second unspoken sizing parameter is hip width. This same unspoken sizing parameter applied to the Evo as well. If you are wide at the hips, you will strongly prefer the size 2.

I loosen my linesman belt, put the belt over my shoulders, then take the slack out when walking in and out of the woods. Acts like suspenders.

I currently have a size 1 but have thought about going to a size 2. I am a 32-33” waist. I am about 6’ tall and 160lbs. Do you think a size two would be sloppy?

This just shows how personal all this stuff really is. Ernie and I are very similar dimensions and I like the size 2. I do agree that the size 2 would be sloppy on you. I don't think it would be uncomfortable though, but that is just my intuition.
