I bought Ontario's climbrite aluminums with ultralight pads. I just finished all the strap mods. I for one like the leather spur shields (or whatever they are). I just replaced the velcro with orange nite ize ties. Really like the spurs - by far the best climbing method I've used. Now I just need to figure out the best way to pack in the spurs, a platform, jacket/bibs, saddle/ropes and bow. That's the biggest challenge for me right now!
 
I’m already broke from this site.... so I’m going to have to miss this one. I still haven’t scrounged up the funds for a Kestrel yet!

I sat in a couple at saddlepalooza, but I won’t have the room in the hunting budget for a while. I might have to wait until Christmas for one. I blew almost the whole year’s hunting budget on saddlepalooza and a one on one Dan Infalt scouting weekend.

But the knowledge you walked away with from both of those events is priceless. I am still thinking in the spikes. Almost there but want to make sure.

I hear ya. That brings up the question, can we pay via PayPal. My sweetheart doesn't see those expenditures.
