I've done some leather work, in the past and although it wasn't the best stitching, it worked as needed. :)
I was shopping for a new 3 finger tab, as my Safari Tuff tab is doing good, but it's getting some miles on it and I would like to have a "back up", just in case. Yes, that's Wilson football pigskin and some chamois leather for added thickness. I used a nail to punch the holes and a heavy needle with sinew to stitch it up.

I need to take it for a test drive, but here's the finished product.
