Who here makes there own linemans belts and tethers with lite weight rope and prussiks? I may be looking to purchase a new lighter rope tether and/or linemans belt. I understand many of you buy bulk rope and make these items very well.

Yea, most guys on here are just making their own. It is very easy once you know what you're doing and there are a bunch of threads discussing it.
 
Yes, and you can get rope by the foot with free shippping for orders over $30 from r&w rope. I suggest that you buy premade prusiks and tie your own tether and linesmans belt

Even better, add a ropeman1. I thought I would do without a ropeman1 but ended up with no prussic knots and a ropeman1 on the lineman belt and tether...
