Sweet!!! The 15th is my birthday, so I might be able to swing it! Any idea if the base will allow spurs?

Spurs are not against the rules. I use them.

We won't know how much land is open until the week of the event unfortunately. However, start saving money now to buy a .22 MAG. That way you'll have access to the entire installation. That's what I did.

Presidents Day Weekend - February 16-19. Valentines is the Wednesday before. Since it's on a Wednesday, V-day would have to be celebrated the weekend before instead of the weekend after. This should actually work in our favor...do something super awesome the weekend before and earn those hunting brownie points.

I'm marking this down I am gonna try to make it this year!

I wouldn't register your weapons too early. The issue is you have to pick up the registration cards in person. If you do it this far out, I guarantee they will get lost. On the flip side, what may happen is you get in the system and all they have to do is reprint your registration card. I'll call the office and find out so we have a solid answer.

10/4. I also need to know what to do since I sold my pistol. I registered it last year but decided to sell it.

@ImThere this is what it shows under section 2-2 of the sop. I'm not sure why you couldn't just call them.
n. Prior to selling a registered firearm, the owner will report to the DES Security

Registration Office (Building 1279) to de-register the firearm

I'm marking the dates to take off work. Regretted not being able to get off for the last one. Looking forward to meeting you all.
