Looking to use a lone wolf assault hand climber base as a platform.
Trying to lighten the load and clanking around since a freaking mouse chewed my HSS and I am going to have to buy a new harness.
So.
Instead of buying a new HSS I am interested in getting a saddle and using that as my HSS and as my seat in hopes of ditching the seat on my LW hand climber. I don't like the idea of only using the seat as a platform because I don't like shooting from the saddle. I am just looking to use it as a HSS with a ropeman device to go up the tree and then using the saddle as a seat while I am in the tree and then I could repel down pretty quickly at the end of the day with one of those f4 devices. I would like to do some preset loops so I can basically use the rope as my fall protection and to help assist me up the tree. Or should I use my ropeman device for that?
Does anyone else do this on here with the Lone wolf assault hand climber platform?
I basically want to do what this guy is doing. and I am hoping that ditching the platform that I might be able to save a little weight.
Also, could someone recommend a saddle for me. I am 5-9" and 170 pounds.
