Looking for “tailor” in Mass

Hi SH. I’m pretty new here been on for a month or so. I got a phantom, hawk helium 30s and really looking forward to season starting. I’ve been running a military fanny pack Last season but it’s too small for what I want to do so I went and bought the camelbak trophy 20L backpack.
I want to attack 2 cinch straps to the back (stitch) So I can attach my sticks. Like the horn hunter g2. I bought the straps today. I know a lot of guys do this stuff here does anyone want to quote me a price? Pm me for details. Possible MA local drop off/pick up to avoid shipping.
Do you think a normal tailor could do this? I don’t know anything about sewing not sure how they’d stitch to the pack.
While I’m doing this I’d like PAL/molle strips added to increase options in future. Any advice on thread type to advise local tailor?

Where in Mass

Any Tailor would sew straps to pack

I had Joy Tailor Shop in Wakefield sew my adjustable webbing bridge ends to Kite

If you ship I highly suggest Mike Isbell

Can you post some pictures of the pack and perhaps some scribbles of what you want? This may be a good opportunity to learn how to use a speedy stitcher. For the effort of shipping the bag around etc it may be worth picking up that nifty gadget.

Looked up the pack and seems to me just about any tailor could do it. Check for shoe repair shops too since their machines are better able to go deep into a bag like this

That's a great idea. I use this one.

I will post some photos but I’ve decided to use my alpz traverse instead. It’s big but the sticks are bigger and heavier than I thought and won’t fit good on the camelback. The camel back is a good pack for light travel, the alpz will be for kayak hunts.

Okay. This will be tmc- too much content. Let me put the photos up from my phone and I’ll grab the computer to type up some comments. 1st bag will be my setup- alpz traverse. I’m a new saddle hunter and have new helium sticks I really underestimated the size and weight. The sticks and platform feel the same as a sit and climb wide 2. 2nd bag was my initial idea which I’ve scrapped. I like the straps though with the plastic cam cover.

Here is my alpz- it has rain Cover, rifle strap for sticks, meat shelf. Plenty of straps.

It’s a big pack I thought too big. After I got the sticks I realize it’s not too big.

Here is the camelback trophy 20l. It’s dwarfed by the 30” hawks.

I was thinking of putting cinch straps here and here like the g2 horn hunter.

There’s webbing up here.
There’s side cinch straps
Those straps meet in the back but don’t buckle together (why didn’t manufacturer put female/male on one side and male/female on the other side? Would be same cost but better utility)
The bottom has nothing going on- there’s straps on the side.

And there you have it. I think I will skip the stick straps and just use the traverse. I bought night ize runner ties I can attach predator on outside and use a strap to carry sticks separate.

Sounds good. The traverse seems like a good pack. I do have the G2 Horn Hunter and can absolutely recommend it for carrying a lot well.
