Looking for a bridge for my Sit&Drag.

Ok, with an adjustable bridge, would you use 2 carabiners? I like the idea of being able to remove the bridge.
Still playing with my kestrel to figure out what I like. If I could use 1/4" am steel and make a whoopie sling with fixed loop and adjustable loop, I should be able to just hook each loop to my saddle with a biner. Then adjust as needed for length.

Still use the original tree tether, but with a ropeman 1 instead of Prussic or Blake's hitch.

Sound doable?

yup

So Dutch will make a bridge for me?
Just don't tell him what's it's for. He probably won't want to make something intended for life support at 25'.

3" fixed loop w/6" bury, a 10" constriction, a minimum adjustment length of 20", and a max length of 35".

How is Dutch going to make a whoopie sling for a bridge? You are going to have to take it apart in order to put it on the saddle? Isn't a whoopie a custom job? Locked brummel on one site and then the other end has to be run around the bridge before being buried.

he wants to use carabiners. I wouldn't myself, but Dutch could make one and then use 1 carabiner to attach it. Girth hitch the fixed loop and a carabiner on the adjustable side.

Got it. I missed that part.
