LWCG Crossover Climber

At 13lbs I just assume wait for the xop to drop next year at half the price, same weight and a bigger platform.
I believe Novix is also working on a climber potentially. They did a Working Class Bowhunter podcast and hinted at something. I’d buy a Novix branded climber over XOP. Should find out more at ATA.

I am still using a Loggy Bayou Predator Pro. I think that may have been their last model, not sure. But that is the stand Muddy rolled out with I am almost positive.

Muddy did buy Loggy, or bought their designs. I have about 5 of these Predators I bought years ago…end of season sale for like $99 each. They are great stands, light ~11lbs, and quiet. I bought these because they hunt similar to lone wolf alpha, for a lot less money and less weight. I just hung one the earlier this week for a last minute set. Every time I get in one, I ask myself why I don’t use these more often. But still love my old lone wolf alpha too.

So I emailed LWCG the other day about receiving the climber without a foam seat. They got back to me today and said that they were not in stock yet for the first shipment of stands. They said they would be mailing them out as soon as they were available.

Last I looked the majority of hunters are still over the age of 40. Most of them probably grew up on ladder stands and prefer them. So it's probably not a bad business decision to work on ladder stands just based on data.
Novix’s Raider ladder stand is not a new concept. Back when they were Lone Wolf, this was available:

Same thing. And you’re right, it makes sense statistically to offer a ladder stand.

Just for fun I sent them a e mail and they said they were not comming out with a climber!
When was the pod cast?

September 21st.

I also thought it sounded like a climber, Mark kept saying “it’s inclusive of all types of hunting” which made me imagine a hand climber type stand that could double as a saddle platform or something along those lines.

I’ll admit I’m a bit of Novix fanboy, but I’m excited to see what they come out with. The Helo is my favorite stand and I just ordered some Raiders and the 20’ sticks for presets back home in WI.
