Making the EONPOW climbers a viable option!

I simply drilled and tapped the tube for my plastic wing nut. It seems pretty good so far. I wrenched on it pretty good and it didn't strip out. If it holds up, it's easier than getting a nut welded on.
What a stupidly simple solution. I ran out to home depot this morning and got the tools and just did this. I see no reason that it shouldn't work great and hold up. Thanks!

I tapped mine out and welded a bolt on. I don't trust my farmer welding so I did both.

I’ve model my EONPOWs. I tried thenm on a birch tree. They sunk into the tree so deep I couldn’t pull them up.
I’ll try a harder tree.

Wow. I haven't used them on anything that soft.

Anyone still using these? Saw some online and was wondering if it's something people were still using since it seems safe, stable, and able to get around some branches.

I used them on my last hunt. But I haven’t been in the woods this year. There is a fiddle factor with them. I want to experiment with them more but I haven’t had the opportunity
