I'm wondering how deer use Milo vs Corn in close proximity? Which one gets more attention or both? What have you guys found? I'm planning on running cameras and glassing to get a plan when season gets closer. Wondering what others experience has been?

We planted some Milo (sorghum) this year. Does well where it's dry, good cover and nothing messes with it until it matures. At that point everything will eat it. Deer will bed in it. Many a biggun has been taken in/around sorghum.

It was a big component of our summer food plots but more for the organic matter and cover than anything. We will drill the fall stuff in then run the roller crimper over it. Deer, turkey and doves should enjoy that.

The bad part about planting milo is that a swarm of black birds can find it and wipe it out.
