Stumbled upon this idea by accident. Originally made the bag as a lid/daypack to attach to my frame pack. Turns out to fit my platform great with some room for a warming layer. Added some webbing and attachments to carry sticks. You can basically walk up to the tree and start climbing without removing the back or fiddling with stuff. You can access the sticks by just reaching behind and unclipping and remove your platform from the bag once up in the tree. 500 d cordura with all milspec materials.

Very nice. I have this same issue of finding the best pack for both without being too bulky.

I don’t think my sewing skills are up to this level though. lol
