Mountain bike for access?

I have a junk mountain bike I typically have a three mile ride or so. I have tried pulling a trailer and didn’t like it. If either I or my dad shoot a deer we strap it to the bike and push it out. It pushes really easy ( was going to attach pic but it won’t let me )

I like this idea. Hopefully you’ll be able to post a pic

I have the same exact bike . Looking to get a Radrover that my friend has on hold for me till I'm ready to buy it he has a Quite Kat he said he doesn't need two e bikes . The Radrover is hunt ready.

Perfect man! I took it on its first one mile ride yesterday and it did fine. Gears didn’t seem smooth but then again it’s a cheaper bike but does just fine.

What kind of seat did you put in yours? The seat that comes with the bike isn’t exactly a good time after about 20 minutes lol

Here is the one I built. I started with a surly pugsley and added a bbshd kit from luna cycle. I had them "hot rod" it and upgraded to the 52 volt battery.

I would love to replace the hydraulic brakes and get some that have the sensors built in, and I've really been thinking of changing the front sprocket tho a 30 or 36 tooth sprocket for more torque. With the standard sprocket, I can really get 25mph on the flats and 10-15 up the holds around my house. I haven't had a chance to get it in the woods yet.

I still need to add the luggage racks etc, but it's coming along.

I have one of the Cogburn bikes which is essentially a surly from what I've gathered. What did it run you to do all this? I'm kind of interested in maybe converting it. I don't mind pedaling to the deep woods but I don't like all the sweating I end up doing in the early season.

I went big on everything. Motor battery etc and the conversion kit was around $1500

Was it pretty easy to install or did you have to get customize anything to make it work?

The kit is generic so you should plan on some customization, but for me it was minimal. I had to create a shim to keep the transmission from hitting the frame. I also had to create a bracket for the battery mount because the holes on the battery mount did not match the holes on my water bottle mount . Otherwise it was fairly straightforward.

The seat is from Wal-Mart and is made by Schwinn very comfortable. The gears will raddle unless you make sure the your shifter is in the right position for the gear you want . You may have to wiggle the shifter a little . Make sure you put a little lite oil on the chain and sprocket.

Check out the Radrover E-bike . It's a fat tire mountain bike and cost 1,499 with free shipping in the lower 48 states . It has been improved a little over 2017 models. My friend bought one and loves it. If you got a friend who wants one and you buy two you'll get 200 off your order.

Yeah those look pretty cool. If I can get my Cogburn bow holder to work on that that would be the way to go

I built a beast of an electric bikes this spring. It is going to drastically reduce my commute and let me get to some places I couldn't before.

I am putting a heavy duty luggage rack and huge saddle bags on the back. I hope to be able to bring a quartered deer out in one trip in the bags
