I've been lurking on here for a while, you guys have some awesome information. Tree saddles have been on my radar for a while now but I could never make the jump, I've been hunting from the ground (not very successfully) since I started. After watching a few bucks walk by because I couldn't get a clear shot and knowing my shot would have been clear from 15 to 20 ft up the tree I had my back against, I gave in and bought a tethrd menace, a predator platform and some hawk climbing sticks. I figured I would get into one sticking at a later date. Unfortunately the season is over in WA but that gives me a LOT of time to get used to being in a tree and shooting down at my target. Only had a chance to mess with it on a telephone pole once so far but man I am liking it. Anyway thought I'd say hi and thanks for all the great info.

Another west of the rockeys.so cool.its not coming for people to hunt blacktails elivated.makes it hard to try when everyone says it don't work you gotta cover ground or still hunt.its boring and I see less dear.but when I do see them from a tree they are not stairing at me . Stay up
