New Saddle Company?

I agree with GCTerpfan, it looks like sections and if you go to their site the 1 pic has the bottom strapped to the tree. It looks like 2" webbing guess I'm gonna have to pull out the old thread injector and see what I can come up with. I also wonder if that is Canadian money since they are located in Alberta.

It looks like a 30 dollar 5 step aider and honestly the cheap climbing ones look lighter and look to open up better (I'm sure those loops of strap stand straight out like that after being packed away for months out of season) ...don't pay 185 for that

Except it comes with enough to go 24 feet. It’s not just one length

I just another email from the company saying my order is being processed.

For the first time in my SH.com life, I will wait on the reviews and reactions before I consider a purchase. But I’d be Lieing if I told you I did not want it! Not the saddle but the ladder.

Does the bottom just hang or does it also loop around tree?

How does a company come out w a saddle and not be a part of the forum? It’s literally the only forum for us saddlehunters. My mind is blown

I am seeing that the saddle system uses webbing not rope for the tether. If they saw this forum the company may have went with a rope style tether?

It’s hard to imagine someone coming out with a product without researching the market. They could have posted on here starting with a thread titled super secret exciting news.

I just emailed them and they said:
"We are currently producing “How-To” videos for the Tree Ladder and Sling. Expect them to be on our website and Youtube channel in the following weeks".

That ladder looks like its built like a brick turd house. I’m sure we can find a way to accomplish the same thing only not 6lbs worth.

Because any numbnut with webbing and a sewing machine can copy it. Similar reason we haven't seen the propietary mini saddle platform/treestand I assume. None of this is rocket science just repurposing and tweaking existing stuff.

Hello everyone.

We are glad you are excited about the products. We have been hunting out of saddles for many years. It is less popular for some reason in Canada but we strongly believe it is the best method of hunting out of a tree. More tutorial videos are will be coming soon. We are continuing to improve on the design and functionality to make the Tree Ladder and Tree Sling as safe and user friendly as possible. We greatly appreciate the suggestions such as how to make the ladder more rigid.
