Had the same opinion when i grabbed it off the shelf..thought it looked cheep.but the abstracct non uniform break up pattern is better than asat or predator.too bad it was discontinued.Pure tan and it breaks up in the oregon coast pure green.my budy lost me 4 feet off the road from the truck pissin.the tans with the sparce limbs n leaves break up good, and allso blend in good.better than Fred Bears red and black flanel that works just fine for just deer.light tans can reflect greens that they are surrounded by.and western Oregon is one place quite hospitable to olive drab.aka, green realy works here.however chopped up tan is just that versitile .in the open ,in the brush,in the air,on the ground,in the light ,in the shadow,in the eyes of all big game and all big game predators including peope you dont want to see you,not just the eyes of deer.argue with that.cuz im a dumby.and if you cant mentally woop à dumby. than..... huh.
